เคยเห็น Logo แบบนี้บนถุงกระดาษ หรือกล่องกระดาษกันมั้ยคะ? ถ้าเคยเห็น…คุณเคยสงสัยมั้ยว่ามันคือ Logo อะไร? และทำไมบางกล่องมี บางกล่องไม่มี และอันที่ไม่มีมันต่างกันยังไง?

FSC ย่อมาจาก Forest Stewardship Council FSC คือ องค์กรที่ไม่หวังผลกำไรภายใต้ความร่วมมือของกลุ่มต่างๆ จากทั่วโลก ได้แก่

  • กลุ่มอนุรักษ์ป่าไม้และสิ่งแวดล้อม
  • ผู้ค้าไม้
  • ผู้ผลิตสินค้าจากไม้
  • องค์การผู้ให้การรับรองไม้หรือผลิตภัณฑ์จากไม้

องค์กรนี้ตั้งขึ้นเพื่ออะไร ?

  • จัดทำระบบเพื่อตรวจสอบการใช้ไม้ ว่านำมาจากที่ไหน ใช้งานอย่างไร ?
  • ให้ใบ Certification การรับรองไม้และผลิตภัณฑ์ไม้ให้มีหลักประกันว่า ทุกๆการใช้งานจากไม้ทุกชนิด จะไม่ตัดไม้จากในป่าสงวนที่ผิดกฎหมาย ไม่ว่าจะนำมาทำเฟอร์นิเจอร์ หรือนำมาแปรรูปเป็นกระดาษเพื่ออุตสาหกรรมการพิมพ์ตั้งแต่ต้นทางของการตัดต้นไม้ จนถึงปลายทางที่แปรรูปออกมาเป็น Product แล้ว ในที่นี้เราจะพูดถึงสัญลักษณ์ FSC ที่เราเห็นบนกล่อง ถุงกระดาษ หรืองานพิมพ์ทุกชนิด…” เป็นเครื่องหมายที่แสดงให้เห็นว่ากล่องผลิตมาจากกระดาษที่มาจากไม้ในป่า ที่ปลูกมาเพื่อใช้ในอุตสาหกรรมเท่านั้น” ไม่ใช่การตัดไม้ทำลายป่า หรือรุกล้ำพื้นที่ป่าสงวน หรือป่าอนุรักษ์ใดๆ ค่ะ แต่เป็นไม้จากการปลูกในป่าที่ตั้งใจปลูกเพื่อนำมาใช้ในอุตสาหกรรมโดยตรง นอกจากจะทำให้เรามีไม้มาใช้ทำกระดาษได้โดยไม่ต้องรุกล้ำป่าสงวนแล้ว ยังช่วยทำให้โลกเรามีต้นไม้ในป่าธรรมชาติให้เค้าได้เติบโตไปนานๆแบบยั่งยืนอีกด้วย

1. FSC 100% สัญลักษณ์นี้จะรับรองว่า :

ไม้หรือเยื่อไม้ในผลิตภัณฑ์นี้มาจากป่าไม้ที่ผ่านมาตรฐานของ FSC ทั้งหมด หรือเป็นผลิตภัณฑ์จากป่าที่ได้รับการดูแลอย่างยั่งยืน 100% นั่นเอง

2. FSC Recycled สำหรับสัญลักษณ์ FSC Recycled หมายถึง

ไม้หรือเยื่อไม้ที่อยู่ในผลิตภัณฑ์จะต้องมาจากวัสดุรีไซเคิล การใช้ผลิตภัณฑ์รีไซเคิลจะช่วยให้ลดการใช้เยื่อบริสุทธ์ลงซึ่งเป็นหนึ่งในวิธีปกป้องป่าไม้

3. FSC Mix สัญลักษณ์นี้จะบ่งบอกถึงผลิตภัณฑ์นี้มีส่วนประกอบของ

  • ไม้หรือเยื่อบริสุทธ์ (เยื้อแท้) ที่ผ่านการรับรอง FSC
  • ไม้หรือเยื่อรีไซเคิล
  • ผลิตภัณฑ์จากป่าไม้ที่อยู่ภายใต้การควบคุม FSC
            ภายใต้สัดส่วน FSC นี้ ผลิตภัณฑ์จากป่าที่ได้รับตรารับรอง FSC Mixed จะต้องมีส่วนประกอบอย่างน้อย 70% ของไม้/เยื่อที่ผ่านการรับรอง FSC หรือผลิตภัณฑ์รีไซเคิล ขณะที่อีก 30% ต้องเป็นผลิตภัณฑ์ที่ได้จากไม้ควบคุม อย่างไรก็ดี เพื่อให้ผ่านเกณฑ์ไม้ควบคุมนี้ ไม้ดังกล่าวจะต้องไม่ได้มาอย่างไม่ถูกต้อง ปลูกในที่หวงห้าม หรือผิดหลักสิทธิมนุษยชน หรือเป็นป่าที่ได้จากการดัดแปลงพันธุกรรม

How many types of FSC paper?
1. FSC 100%: This symbol certifies that:
The wood or wood pulp in this product is 100% sourced from forests that meet FSC standards or are products from forests that are sustainably maintained.
2. FSC Recycled: For the FSC Recycled symbol, it means
The wood or wood pulp in the product must come from recycled materials. Using recycled products reduces the use of virgin pulp, which is one of the ways to protect forests.
3. FSC Mix: This symbol indicates that this product contains:
• FSC-certified virgin wood or pulp (real pulp).
• Recycled wood or pulp.
• Forest products under FSC control.
Under this FSC ratio, forest products that receive the FSC Mixed seal must contain at least 70% FSC-certified or recycled wood/pulp, while the remaining 30% must be from regulated wood.
However, to pass the criteria for this controlled wood, such wood must not have been obtained illegally. Planting in a restricted area or violates human rights principles. And is it a forest that has been genetically modified?
