PP Board : ใช้ทำงานพิมพ์อะไรได้บ้าง ?

มาทำความรู้จักวัสดุชนิดนี้กันนิดนึงก่อนนะคะ PP Board หรือเรียกว่า ฟิวเจอร์บอร์ด และ Corrugated Board เป็นพลาสติกที่มีลอนเหมือนลูกฟูก ทำจาก Polypropylene (PP) มีความหนาตั้งแต่ 1-5 mm. เหมาะสำหรับการนำ ไปพิมพ์งานหลายประเภทเลยค่ะ

วันนี้เราจะมาบอกว่า งานแบบไหนบ้างที่ควรเลือกใช้  PP Board มาพิมพ์นะคะ

1. Standee

ใช้งานได้ทั้งแบบ Indoor และ Outdoor ตอนสั่งงานต้องแจ้งโรงพิมพ์นะคะ เพราะหมึกที่ใช้งานในร่ม และกลางแจ้งต่างกัน หากเอางานที่พิมพ์ Indoor ไปตั้งกลางแดด ไม่นานสีก็จะซีดทันทีเลยค่ะ โดนฝนก็ไม่ได้ด้วยนะคะ แต่หมึก Outdoor ทนได้ทั้งแดดและฝนค่ะ ตัวอย่างงาน Standee ที่เห็นบ่อยๆก็ตาม หน้าร้าน Fast Food เช่น Macdonald, KFC จะตั้งอยู่หน้าร้านเลยค่ะ  เดี๋ยวนี้ก็นิยมทำเป็น Picture Standee คือพิมพ์งานบน PP Board แล้วนำมาไดคัทเจาะรูตรงกลาง เพื่อให้คนได้เข้ามาถ่ายรูปได้ด้วยนะคะ

2. ป้ายโฆษณา, ป้ายเลือกตั้ง

ป้ายลักษณะนี้ส่วนใหญ่ใช้งาน Outdoor ค่ะ ต้องตากแดด โดนฝน และที่สำคัญโดนลมแรงๆด้วย แนะนำให้ใช้ PP Board 4-5 mm นะคะ จะได้ไม่หักง่าย ( PP Board มีลอน หากลมพัดแรงๆ จะหักงอไปตามลอนลูกฟูกได้ค่ะ)

สาเหตุที่นิยมใช้ PP Board เป็นป้ายชั่วคราว ?

– มีน้ำหนักเบา ขนาดแบน ขนย้ายง่าย
– ราคาไม่สูงมาก ใช้งานได้นานค่ะ
– งานพิมพ์ สามารถพิมพ์ลงบน Sticker ก่อนและติดลงบน PP Board หรือจะพิมพ์แบบ Direct ลงบน PP Board เลยก็ได้ค่ะ แต่จะเห็นลอนชัดกว่าแบบที่ติด Sticker เพราะ Sticker จะช่วย กลบลอนให้ดูเรียบเนียนกว่าพิมพ์ตรงลงไปเลยค่ะ
– งานแบบนี้นิยมใช้ความหนาแค่ 3 mm. ก็พอค่ะ เพราะใช้งานไม่นาน หมดเลือกตั้งก็ต้องเอาออก
PP Board แบบนี้ ส่วนใหญ่หากติดที่เสาไฟฟ้า ต้องแจ้งโรงพิมพ์นะคะ ว่าให้เจาะรู + ตอกตาไก่

3. Shelf & Counter Display

เดี๋ยวนี้งาน Shelf หรือ Counter Display เป็นที่นิยมมากสำหรับ Brand ใหม่นะคะ เพราะหากเราได้ซื้อพื้นที่บน Counter จ่ายเงินแล้ว จะเอาสินค้าไปตั้งกองเฉยๆ ก็ดูไม่สวย ควรทำที่วางให้ดูสะดุดตา เห็นแล้วต้องหันมาเลือกซื้อทันทีก่อนชำระเงิน

PP Board สามารถนำมาทำ Shelf Display แบบนี้ได้ค่ะ ใช้ในกรณีที่ต้องการใช้งานนานๆ เพราะจะเสียหายและพังยากมาก ๆ ต้องการส่งไปตามร้านที่ต่างจังหวัดเพราะพับเก็บได้ ขนย้ายสะดวก ประหยัดเงินในการขนส่งเพราะน้ำหนักเบาค่ะ หากสินค้าเรามีน้ำหนักมากๆ วางของเยอะ ๆ PP Board จะรับน้ำหนักได้ดีกว่ากระดาษค่ะ สามารถตั้ง Outdoor ได้ค่ะ เพราะทนแดด ทนฝน แต่การออกแบบ Display แบบนี้ หากใช้ PP Board แนะนำให้ปรึกษาโรงพิมพ์ผู้ผลิตก่อนนะคะ เพราะ PP Board เมื่อนำมาทำชั้นวาง ต้องพับไปมา เพื่อให้แข็งแรง ดังนั้นการออกแบบต้องเผื่อส่วนที่พับ และสันจะหนากว่ากระดาษทั่วๆไปด้วยค่ะ หากไม่ชำนาญในการออกแบบ โรงพิมพ์เรามีทีม R&D ไว้ดูแลงาน ประเภทนี้ คอยให้คำแนะนำและปรับแบบ ทำ Mock up งานให้ลองวางสินค้าได้ก่อนผลิตงานจริงด้วยค่ะ

4. Hanging Display

งานพิมพ์ประเภทนี้เรามักพบเห็นได้ตามร้านโชว์ห่วย หรือ 7-11 นะคะ Hanging Display แบบนี้นิยมมาก เพราะจุดที่แขวนจะอยู่บริเวณมุมทางเดิน ที่ลูกค้าต้องเดินผ่าน ทำให้ลูกค้าเห็นสินค้าเราง่าย และหากออกแบบงานให้สวยเด่นน่าสนใจ ลูกค้าก็จะหยิบสินค้าลงตะกร้าทันทีเลยค่ะ

เราจะใช้ PP Board กับงาน Hanging แบบนี้ คือตรงบริเวณแผ่นรองด้านหลังค่ะ เพราะความหนาของ PP Board จะทำให้งานที่แขวนไม่แอ่น หรือโค้งงอหากโดนความชื้น

แล้วข้อแตกต่างของการใช้ PP Board มาทำ Hanging เมื่อเทียบกับกระดาษคืออะไรบ้าง มาดูกันค่ะ

– กระดาษจะบางกว่า เหมาะกับการใช้งานไม่นาน แบบที่ต้องการเปลี่ยนแบบบ่อย ๆ
– กรณีที่จะใช้งานนานๆ ไม่ต้องเปลี่ยนโปรโมชั่น แนะนำให้ใช้ PP Board ไปเลยดีกว่าค่ะ
– ราคา PP Board สูงกว่าแบบกระดาษก็จริง แต่เมื่อเทียบกับระยะเวลาในการใช้งาน คุ้มกว่าค่ะ

PP Board: What can be suitably used for printing?

Let’s get to know this material a little bit first.
PP Board, also known as Future Board and Corrugated Board, is a plastic that has corrugated-like curls, made from Polypropylene (PP), with a thickness of 1-5 mm. It can print many types of jobs.
What type of work should to use PP Board to print?

1. Standee

Can be used both Indoor and Outdoor. When ordering, you need to inform the printing house, because the ink used for indoor and outdoor are different types.
If taking the work that is printed Indoor to set in the sun. The color will fade very soon. And it can’t get hit by the rain too.
The outdoor ink can endure both sun and rain.
Examples of standee work are often seen is
In front of Fast Food stores such as Macdonald, KFC.
It will be located in front of the stores.
Nowadays, it is popular to make a Picture Standee, which is printed on PP Board and then Place a hole in the middle. So that people can come and take pictures as well. To read more about Standee’s standard sizes, click here.

2. Billboards

Most of these signs are used outdoors. They have to be exposed to the sun, rain, and most importantly, they are exposed to strong winds.
It is recommended to use PP Board 4-5 mm. So that it will not break easily (PP Board has curls if the wind blows hard. It can be bent along the corrugated curls)  The reason why PP Board is popular to make temporary signs like this is
• Lightweight, flat size, easy to move.
• The price is not very high. It can be used for a long time.
• The printing can be printed on Sticker first and attached to PP Board or can be printed directly.
To print direct on PP Board, you will see the curls more clearly than the type that sticks on the Board because the sticker will help to cover the curls to look smoother than typing straight down.
This type of work is popular with a thickness of only 3 mm. That’s enough because it doesn’t last long.

3. Shelf & Counter Display

Shelf or Counter Display work is very popular for new brands because if we buy space on the payment counter if we just put the product in a stack, it doesn’t look pretty, which shouldn’t make the standout.
To manage it more prettily, PP Board can be used to make a standout Counter Display.

The advantages of using PP Board for display:
• Can be use for a long time, it will be damaged and broken very difficult.
• It is foldable, easy to move, and saves money on transportation.
Because of the lightweight
• If our product has a lot of weight, you need to put a lot of stuff on it,
PP Board can support the weight better than paper.
• Can be set up Outdoor because it is resistant to sunlight and rain.
But for this type of Display design, if using PP Board, it is recommended to consult the manufacturer’s printing house first.

4. Hanging Display

This Kind of POP is very popular. The hanging point is at the corner of the corridor that customers have to walk through. So, it is easy for customers to see our products and if the work is designed to be beautiful, outstanding, and interesting.  The customer will immediately pick up the product in the basket.
The advantages of this kind of hanging media are:
1. Lightweight, easy to transport and install.
2. Can be made to order according to the desired size.
3. The printing house makes a compartment to put as many products as you want.
We will use PP Board for hanging work like this, which is the back plate area. The thickness of PP Board will make the hanging work not bent by exposed to moisture.
What is the difference of using PP Board to make Hanging compared to paper?
– Paper is thinner and suitable for short-time use.
– Suitable for changing the promotion frequently.
– If used for a long time, it’s better to use PP Board.
– The price of PP Board is actually higher than paper. But when compared to the duration of use, it’s worth more.
